Mahe Romjan is the most precious month in the Islamic calendar (Hijri) and it is obligatory for the Muslims to fast in the month of Ramadan. Here are some points of Romjan that shows in Islam.

Allah has made fasting ramadan the fourth Pillar of Islam
Quran had been revealed in this month
Laylat al-Qadr (The Night of Decree/Power) is in this month, which is better than a thousand months
Allah has made fasting and spending its nights in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward a means of forgiveness of sins.
In this month, Allah opens the gates of Paradise and closes the gates of Hell, and chains up the devils
Every night Allah has people whom He redeems from the Fire
Fasting is a means of expiation for the sins committed since the previous Romjan, so long as one avoids major sins
Fasting in Ramadan is equivalent to fasting ten months
Whoever prays Qiyaam in Ramadaan with the Imaam until he finishes, it will be recorded for him that he spent the whole night in prayer
Umra’h in Ramadhaan is equivalent to Hajj
It is Sunnah to observe I’tikaaf (retreat for the purpose of worship)

বেশি বেশি কুরআন তিলাওয়াত করা
কল্যাণকর কাজ বেশি বেশি করা
বেশি বেশি দান-সদাকাহ করা
উত্তম চরিত্র গঠনের অনুশীলন করা
দাওয়াতে দ্বীনের কাজ করা
সামর্থ্য থাকলে উমরা পালন করা
লাইলাতুল কদর তালাশ করা
বেশি বেশি দো‘আ ও কান্নাকাটি করা
তাওবাহ ও ইস্তেগফার করা
তাকওয়া অর্জন করা
ফজরের পর সূর্যোদয় পর্যন্ত মাসজিদে অবস্থান করা
ফিতরাহ দেয়া
কুরআন মুখস্থ বা হিফয করা
আল্লাহর যিকর করা

একজন অপরজনকে কুরআন শুনানো
কুরআন বুঝা ও পাঠ করা


এই মাসের অনেক ফজিলত । রমজানের ফজিলতের কথা বলে শেষ করা যাবে না। রহমতের এই মাসে আমরা বেশি বেশি করে আমল করবো আর এর মাহাত্ম্য ও ফজিলত নিয়ে জানার চেষ্টা করবো । আসুন আগে থেকেই আমরা সব প্রকার গুনাহ থেকে নিজেকে রক্ষা করার জন্য তৈরি করি এবং প্রয়োজনীয় ও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দোয়া সমূহ আগে থেকেই রপ্ত করে নেই । মহান আল্লাহপাক আমাদের রমজানের আমল সমুহ পালন করার জন্য হেদায়েত দান করুক ।
