But what in the theory sounds like an easy GPS and Geocaching-Tour, is in practice much more than this, because the software has many more innovative features (reference to section features). So, the teams can communicate with each other in the game in real time. Puzzles can be solved in various ways (photo, text, multiple choice, QR-code) and additional audio or video files can be loaded. Player data can be retrieved and displayed on the map. Also, images can be shot, which are collected on a central PC even during the event and are available immediately at the end of the event. In addition to the Tablet-PC, the teams get all kinds of navigation material like maps, compass and GPS. Backup and security solutions like manuals, roadbooks, operator calls and emergency cards are included. The special feature of the tabtour is the high degree of freedom in the event.
