I no longer wear a watch or fashion from the 1980s. I now use my phone as a watch. When I am outdoors I frequently lose track of time. In order to keep track of time I have to keep turning on the screen of my phone. This is problematic because my phone battery drains quickly and I have to stop and focus my eyes on my phone screen. When I am out, I need to keep track of time because I frequently have to be somewhere at a particular time; e.g. I want to know how close it is until sunset. I needed a better way of figuring out what time it was without stopping and without draining my phone battery needlessly. The stock android clock does not come with an hourly aural notification feature. You can kludge a solution by creating alarms at the top of every hour. But that solution clutters your alarm clock and is difficult to maintain. The result is this application that will play the time via your device's audio system. It is a simple application that will play the time in morse code at the top of every hour, and optionally every 15-minutes.
